Turning maps into meaning.
While freelancing at Rehab Studio London, Willow Berzin (now Perigon Studio’s Principal) helped prototype a personalised mapping experience for Google’s Pixel phone.
The concept: use custom location data to generate bespoke phone interfaces and 3D-printable cases — turning meaningful places into tactile, everyday artefacts.
Working alongside developers, the project explored how personal geographies can shape product design — from digital UI to physical form.
Years ahead of mainstream geospatial customisation, it asked: what if tech could carry memory, place and story?
